Jimmy Kimmel, this year’s host struck the perfect tone of keeping everyone entertained while still acknowledging the bizarre nature of the ceremony.

The empty chairs in the staples Centre in Los Angeles were filled with cardboard cut-outs of celebrities, to make up for the lack of an audience.

Zendaya made history with a surprise win for best drama actress, becoming the youngest ever winner in that category. The actress and her family’s ecstatic reaction to her win provided one of the most Gif-able moments of the night.

Lastly, Regina king an Emmy superhero, and queen of the limited series, won best actress in a limited series at the show for her role as Angela Abar, aka the masked hero sister night, on HBO’s “Watchmen.”

King was handed the trophy as she sat in a living room in the pandemic-altered Emmys.

It’s the fourth Emmy in six years for king, she won the same award in 2018 for “Seven seconds,” and took best supporting actress in a limited series or TV movie for two different roles on “American crime” in 2015 and 2016.

Actress Scarlett Johansson Sues Disney Over ‘Black Widow’ Streaming Release

Hollywood actress, Scarlett Johansson is suing Disney over its decision to release superhero film Black Widow, alleging a breach of contract which cost the actress millions of dollars.

The film was originally due for a big-screen release last year, but was delayed multiple times due to the Covid-19 pandemic and was eventually released this month simultaneously in theaters and on Disney.

Marilyn Manson Files to Dismiss ‘Game of Thrones‘ Star‘s Sex Assault Case Against Him

A few months after British actress Esme Bianco filed a complaint of sexual assault against Marilyn Manson, the singer has filed to dismiss the case.

In February this year, the Game of Thrones actress sued the singer, accusing him of sexual assault and battery. She alleged that Manson repeatedly used drugs, force and threats to coerce her into sexual acts.

In court papers filed in Los Angeles, Manson’s lawyers said there is not a shred of evidence to support the claims, while also arguing that Bianco’s case has been filed too late to be considered under California law.

Bianco is one of four women to sue the singer, alongside Manson’s former personal assistant Ashley Walters, model Ashley Morgan Smithline, and a woman who has chosen to remain anonymous. Many of their allegations are of a similar nature, including claims of sexual and physical abuse.

In total, more than a dozen women have made public allegations against the musician, including his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood.
