Nigerian Superstar, Wizkid Wins Best African Act at 2021 MTV EMA

Multiple award-winning Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, has added another plaque to his shelf as he bagged the award for the Best African Act in this year’s edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards The popular singer took to his Instagram story to repost a video snippet of the announcement as the winner of the category.

Wizkid won the tightly-contested category over other nominated artists such as Tems, Diamond Platnumz, Amaarae, and Focalistic. It has been a year since the release of his hit album ‘Made in Lagos’, but it has steadily topped the charts worldwide.

Alec Baldwin Denies Pulling Trigger in Fatal 'Rust' Set Shooting

Hollywood actor, Alec Baldwin has denied pulling the trigger of the prop gun that killed Ukrainian filmmaker Halyna Hutchins. Baldwin in his first sit-down interview post the tragic accident on the set of his film ‘Rust’ in October, denied pulling the trigger as originally reported.

The interview marks the first time Baldwin has spoken about the incident on camera, except for a brief interview he gave to TMZ in October, in a bid to stop the paparazzi from following him and his family. In that appearance, he described the incident as a “one in a trillion episode” and said accidents of its nature very rarely happened on film sets.

Hutchins was reportedly shot and killed as Baldwin rehearsed with what he believed to be a “cold” – or safe – gun on the set of his western film ‘Rust in New Mexico. Hutchins was flown to hospital by helicopter after the shooting but later died of her injuries. Director Joel Souza, 48, was also injured.

Talented Nigerian singer, Tems, reacts following the uproar on how superstar singer, Wizkid, touched her inappropriately while performing on stage.
This is coming after fans attacked Wizkid for trying to lift Tems and getting touchy during a performance.
In reaction to the social media uproar, the outstanding female singer addressed the situation as that which is not as serious as fans took it.

Meanwhile Fan of superstar singer, Wizkid have reacted after Nigerians dragged Wizkid for trying to touch Tems backside and lift her up on stage.

Hours ago, a video surfaced the internet showing the moment Tems subtly pushed down Wizkid’s hand and disengaged from him after he tried to lift her up.
Reacting to the video, Nigerians dragged Wizkid over his action, stating that it was inappropriate and uncalled for.
However, Wizkid fans have stepped in to defend their fave as they shared a video of Tems getting cozy with Wizkid on stage.

Gucci Family Threatens Law Suit Over Portrayal in 'House of Gucci'

The Gucci family has threatened the producers of ‘house of Gucci’ with legal action over what they describe as the ‘insulting portrayal of the family’ in the film.

According to reports, the heirs of Aldo Gucci alleged that the producers of the newly released film did not consult them before portraying members of the family as “thugs, ignorant and insensitive to the world around them.”

While refuting claims that the fashion family wasn’t inclusive of women, the statement further revealed that they were particularly displeased at the portrayal of patrizia reggiani as a victim, despite the fact that the Italian socialite was convicted of instigating the murder of her husband, Maurizio Gucci.
