Police Find Body That Matches the Description of Nigerian Missing Student in UK

Evidence Joel, the mother of missing Nigerian student, Richard Okorogheye has been informed by police that a body found in Epping Forest matches his description.

The body was discovered by Essex Police officers on Monday afternoon, 13 days after Richard went missing, as investigations remain underway to formally identify the body.

Richard Okorogheye, a 19-year-old Nigerian student at Oxford Brookes University, left his family home in the Ladbroke Grove area of west London, on the evening of March 22, 2021 and was reported missing two days later.

He was last seen on CCTV in Loughton, Essex, in the early hours of Tuesday, March 23, walking towards Epping Forest. Police divers had previously been seen searching the forest.

His mother, Evidence Joel had previously said that her son had spoken of ‘struggling to cope’ with university pressures and had been shielding during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Facebook to Turn Menlo Park Headquarters into Vaccination Site to Speed-Up Drive in US

Facebook incorporated has said that it is converting a part of its Menlo park headquarters, into a vaccination site, joining the government effort to speed up the vaccination drive in the united states.

For this initiative, the company is teaming up with Ravenswood family health centre, chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg wrote in a post.

“We’re also teaming up with the state of California and local non-profits to support mobile vaccination clinics in four of the state’s hardest hit regions,” Sandberg wrote.

Earlier this year, the social media company decided to launch a tool to give people in the United States information about where to get Covid-19 vaccines and added a Covid-19 information area to its photo-sharing site, Instagram.

Djibouti’s veteran ruler Ismail Omar Guelleh was re-elected for a fifth term as president according to provisional results announced early on Saturday.

 

“President Ismail Omar Guelleh obtained 167,535 votes, which is 98.58 percent,” Interior Minister Moumin Ahmed Cheick told public broadcaster RTD early on Saturday, adding that confirmed results would be released soon by the Constitutional Council.

Prince Philip dies aged 99, palace says

Prince Philip the prince of Edinburgh and the husband of Queen Elizabeth II, has died at the age of 99, Buckingham Palace has announced.

The prince married Princess Elizabeth in 1947, five years before she became Queen, and was the longest-serving royal couple in British history.

According to a statement from Buckingham Palace  “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

“His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.”

The couple had four children, eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Their first son, Prince Charles, who is the Prince of Wales, was born in 1948, followed by his sister, Princess Anne, in 1950, the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, in 1960 and the Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward, in 1964.
