The viral video had raised alarm that government officials came without a notice to demolish the building while occupants were still inside.

Although non of the occupants will speak to NCBN crew, it was gatherd that part of the structure was approved for a parking lot and not for the purpose it was used.

Evident by the marks on the building, the FCT Department of Development Control, had in September asked owner of the building to revert to parking lot.

However what remains unclear is why the bulldozer was at the scene on Monday, 16th November.
