Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s pursuit to build a world class film village in Asaba, the Delta state capital, has earned him accolades from the Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria.<\/p>\n
The group paid the governor a courtesy visit at the Government House Asaba while in the state for their annual general meeting.<\/p>\n
President of the group,\u00a0<\/strong>Ralph Nwadike,\u00a0said the movie producers are elated with the world class film village being built in Asaba by the Delta State government.<\/p>\n Watch Our YouTube Videos<\/a><\/p>\n Okowa thanked the movie producers for\u00a0coming back home<\/em>\u00a0to contribute to the development of the state.<\/p>\n He assured that his administration will partner with them to make Delta a tourism destination<\/p>\n Part of his statement said “Let me welcome you all to Delta and I express my excitement that you are mainly Deltans because Deltans have done quite a lot in the movie and entertainment industry.<\/em><\/p>\n We thank you for returning home to conduct your elections, having contributed a lot to Delta.
