The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Kaduna Area Command, on Thursday, 23 July 2026, commissioned the SG Hassan Fitness Hub following an Inter-Agency Games organised to promote physical fitness, teamwork and stronger collaboration among security agencies in Kaduna State.
The sporting event featured football, basketball, volleyball and badminton, bringing together personnel of the Nigeria Customs Service, Nigeria Police Force, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Nigerian Army and Nigeria Immigration Service.
Speaking at the commissioning, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Sa’ad Hassan, said the fitness hub was established to encourage regular exercise, recreation and healthy living among officers of the Command and personnel of other participating agencies.
“The facility is designed to promote physical fitness, recreation and wellness. It will also provide a dedicated space for training and help sustain the gains of our inter-agency sporting engagements,” he said.
Representatives of the participating agencies commended the initiative, describing it as timely and beneficial. They said the facility would strengthen existing partnerships, encourage healthy interaction and further enhance cooperation among sister security agencies in Kaduna State.
The event concluded with the formal unveiling of the SG Hassan Fitness Hub, underscoring the participating agencies’ shared commitment to promoting physical fitness, operational readiness and sustained inter-agency collaboration.
