The Customs Officers’ Wives Association (COWA), Oyo/Osun Chapter, on 2 April 2026, intensified its humanitarian outreach by visiting vulnerable children and widows, reinforcing its commitment to social welfare.

Led by its Chairperson, Mrs Omowunmi Adewole, the association visited the Ibadan Motherless Babies Home and the House of Providence Special School for Children with Intellectual Disability, where members donated items and engaged with beneficiaries.
“We are here to show love and remind them that they are not forgotten,” Adewole said.
The outreach aimed to promote care, inclusion, and a sense of belonging for children in need, while supporting their growth and development.

Items were presented to the children to support their welfare, as the association also commended caregivers for their dedication and service.
The initiative extended to widows of Customs officers, who received support items as part of efforts to strengthen officers’ families’ welfare.

The visits featured interactions with beneficiaries and a renewed commitment by the association to sustain its humanitarian efforts and community impact.
