The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Lagos Free Trade Zone Command has celebrated its newly promoted officers, urging them to remain dedicated and loyal to the Service.

This was during an event held at the Command on Tuesday, 28 January 2025, marking International Customs Day.

Customs Area Controller (CAC) Comptroller Olanrewaju Olumoh highlighted the importance of a committed workforce: “A successful organisation requires a dedicated, diligent, and hardworking team. This has been the foundation of the Nigeria Customs Service’s success.”

He encouraged the promoted officers to view their new roles as opportunities to strengthen their commitment to the NCS while advising those yet to be promoted to remain steadfast.

Speaking further, Comptroller Olumoh underscored the significance of this year’s International Customs Day (ICD) theme—”Customs Delivering on its Commitment to Efficiency, Security, and Prosperity.” He noted, “With efficiency and security in place, prosperity is inevitable.”

He also highlighted the NCS’s efforts to translate commitment into tangible results.

Representatives of sister agencies congratulated the officers, wishing them continued success in their careers.
