Customs Training College Goron-Dutse Triumphs 4-0 in Football Friendly Against FCE Kano

In line with the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC) Adewale Adeniyi’s initiative of institutionalising work-life balance, the Nigeria Customs Training College (CTC) football team faced the Federal College of Education (FCE), Kano, in a friendly match on Thursday, 3 October 2024, securing a resounding 4-0 victory for CTC.

In a statement signed on 4 October 2024 by the college’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Customs Isa Danbaba, on behalf of the Commandant of the College, Comptroller Aliyu Ndayako, it was noted that the match attracted spectators and supporters from both sides.

The Commandant encouraged officers and men of the college to embrace teamwork, emphasising the importance of physical exercise in promoting mental and physical well-being. He urged regular participation in the weekly sports activities held every Thursday evening.

“The event demonstrated CTC’s commitment to work-life balance, in line with the CGC’s directives, fostering camaraderie and fitness among its personnel,” the statement concluded.
