The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Katsina Area Command and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Katsina Sector Command have pledged to deepen inter-agency collaboration to improve service delivery, safety, and national security in Katsina State.

The commitment was made on May 20, 2026, during a courtesy visit by the Katsina state FRSC Sector Commander, Aliyu Ibrahim, to the Customs House in Katsina, where they both discussed areas of mutual interest, including information sharing, operational synergy, traffic management, public enlightenment, and enforcement of government policies.

Speaking during the visit, Customs Area Controller (CAC) Comptroller Mohammed Saidu appreciated the longstanding relationship between the NCS and the FRSC, noting that collaboration among security and paramilitary agencies remains essential in achieving national objectives.
“We really appreciate your visit and believe this will improve service efficiency,” Comptroller Saidu said.

The CAC also reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to maintaining working relations with the FRSC and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery, lawful trade facilitation, and protection of lives and property.

In his remarks, the FRSC Sector Commander commended the Katsina Customs Command for its continuous support and cooperation with the Corps. He stated that the visit was aimed at reinforcing the existing relationship between both agencies and fostering greater collaboration toward improved public service delivery and national development.
