NCS Zone D Bauchi Decorates Newly Promoted Officers

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Zone D Headquarters, Bauchi, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, decorated newly promoted officers in a colourful ceremony held at the zonal headquarters.

Speaking at the event, the Zonal Coordinator in charge of Zone D, Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG) Musa Binga, charged the beneficiaries to see their elevation not just as a step to higher ranks but as a call to greater responsibility.

“Promotion is a recognition of your hard work, commitment, professionalism, and the value you continue to bring to the Service. You must see this as a new task that demands more dedication,” ACG Binga said.

In a vote of thanks on behalf of the promoted officers, Comptroller of Customs (CC) Adamu Muhammad expressed appreciation to the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, and his management team for finding them worthy of the elevation. He pledged that the officers would do their best to discharge their new responsibilities.

Among the decorated officers were one Comptroller of Customs (CC), two Deputy Comptrollers (DC), three Assistant Comptrollers (AC), as well as other senior officers across the zone.
