Licensed Bonded Operators Pledge Support as Comptroller Ihenacho Assumes Duty

Licensed Bonded Terminal Operators under the jurisdiction of the Nigeria Customs Service, Imo/Abia Customs Area Command, have pledged their support to the newly appointed Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Blessing Ihenacho, to ensure trade facilitation and economic growth.
The operators made the commitment during a courtesy visit to Comptroller Ihenacho in Owerri, following her assumption of duty as the command’s 26th Customs Area Controller.
Bonded terminals represented at the meeting included Val & Goods Bonded Terminal, Middle & Cardo Bonded Terminal, B&O Bonded Terminal, and Mevic Bonded Terminal.
In her remarks, Comptroller Ihenacho appreciated the operators’ warm reception and assured them that their operational challenges would be addressed in line with the Service’s mandate to enhance trade facilitation.
She further urged the operators to strengthen their compliance with Customs’ regulations and strictly adhere to the rules guiding bonded terminal operations.
