Comptroller Daniyan Promises Improved Revenue Performance, Better Service Delivery in 2025

The Customs Area Controller (CAC) in charge of the Port & Terminal Multi-Services Limited (PTML), Comptroller Tenny Daniyan has expressed confidence in ensuring improved revenue Performance in 2025.

He gave the assurance during the decoration ceremony of newly promoted officers at the command on Friday, 24 January 2025.

Speaking at the event, the CAC noted that over N31 Billion has already been collected in January which is encouraging. “Considering that it is the beginning of the year, I can assure you that as the day goes by, we will keep improving.”

“From our achievement, the future is bright because more trade will be expanded here and you can trust we will continue to rank among the command people talk about”, he added.

Daniyan emphasised the importance of trade facilitation initiatives like the B’Odogwu system, highlighting its potential to further improve efficiency and contribute to a successful year.

The Area Controller congratulated the newly promoted officers describing their advancement as a reward for hardwork and dedication.

One of the promoted officers, ASC II Cecilia Eya expressed her gratitude and pledged to continue to serving the Nigeria Customs Service with excellence. “I will put in my best to ensure that the fiscal policy given to us by the Federal Government will always be implemented.” she said.
