Spain Records More Than One Million Cases of COVID-19

Spain has recorded more than one million coronavirus cases, becoming the first western European country to Have that landmark figure.

On Wednesday, the country reported 16,973 infections and 156 deaths in the previous 24 hours.

Since its first diagnosed case on 31 January, Spain has now recorded a total of 1,005,295 infections.

It is the sixth nation worldwide to report one million cases after the US, India, Brazil, Russia and Argentina.

Europe has seen a surge in new infections over the last few months, forcing governments to bring in strict new regulations to try and control outbreaks and ensure hospitals do not become overwhelmed.

China has successfully put another probe on the Moon.

China robotic Chang’e-5 mission touched down a while ago with the aim of collecting samples such as dust and rock back to earth.

The mission targeted Mons Rümke which is a high volcano complex in a nearside region.

The lander robot is said to examine the sorrounding and gather up sufface materials.

China refuses to apologies to Australia for fake soldier image

Australian has demand that China apologies for sharing fake image of an Australian soldier killing an Afghan child.

Beijing claimed Australia was trying to “blame China for the worsening of bilateral ties”.

China and Australian relation have suffer a lot of setbacks in recent time.

The tweet with the fake image was posted by the China in response to demand for Australian to provide report on war crime.

The Australian Defence Force said it had found “credible information” that 25 Australian soldiers were involved in the murders of 39 Afghan civilians and prisoners between 2009 and 2013.

China joined in the widespread condemnation of the finding on Monday.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Condemns Attack on Nigerian Farmers

Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh has condemned the recent brutal attack against Nigerian farmers in the country’s North-eastern Borno state.

Khatibzadeh in a statement from the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Monday, offered condolences over the attack, and expressed sympathy with the victims’ survivors as well as the Nigerian government and people.

More than 43 people were killed in what the Nigerian president has described as an “insane” attack in North-east Nigeria on Saturday.

This has been noted as one of the worst attacks in recent months in a region where Boko Haram and the Islamic state west Africa insurgent groups are active.
